Currently retired, Paradise Associates had been appraising fine antique, classic, contemporary and art jewelry since 1981. With offices in San Francisco, and Los Angeles since 1985, Paradise Associates has provided high quality appraisal services for decades to unique Clientele from Royalty, Political Leaders, Celebrities of all genre, and the upper Elite. Paradise Associate appraisers set the bar high for maintaining strict standards for ethics, accreditation, qualified valuations, photographic documentation, and detailed appraisal reporting. Paradise Associates specialized in insurance and estate appraisals, donation, forensic reconstruction, equitable distribution, large collection recording, schedule coordination, and expert witness work. Fees were based on a per hour rate for on-site, as well as off-site research and generation time.
Insurance reports were prepared to provide enough detail of each item examined by description that, along with the embedded digital images, could provide for close to exact replacement, should it be needed. Listed in the narrative reports were the type of construction, dimensions of the piece, metal content, finish, weight, and quality analysis of all gemstones contained in the item, and more.
Paradise Associates worked directly with the clients, personal assistants, insurance agents, property managers, and attorneys to ensure that all aspects of the assignment would be provided for properly. This would also entail the review of any and all previous documentation that exists to safeguard accuracy, addressing any existing discrepancies, verification of inventory, and to assist in the research of the property. Paradise Associates appraisers checked each item for unsafe conditions and any missing and/or broken aspects during examination to preempt situations that may affect the integrity and lasting enjoyment of your treasures.
Paradise Associates services were conducted on site, in the comfort of the client's home, bank, or office. Paradise Associates always conducted services with respect not only for the collection but for the environment provided to work in, with care in leaving a location in the same state or better than when arrived. To allow for the assignments to be completed appropriately scheduling of appointments were 3 months in advance. Once the items have been examined, a minimum of 6 weeks turnaround time can be expected. That time frame could be expected to double for larger or complex assignments.
